Liverpool delegation to visit Hyderabad in October
As a follow-up to the London meeting, a delegation from Liverpool is scheduled to visit Hyderabad in October.
The visit is expected to provide an opportunity for both sides to take forward the discussions and work towards formalising the proposed strategic partnership.
The proposed partnership could open new avenues for knowledge exchange, sports development, technology collaboration and investment while strengthening Hyderabad’s international connections.
Telangana Rising expands global engagement
The discussions with Cambridge and Liverpool form part of Telangana’s wider Telangana Rising global outreach programme aimed at attracting international institutions, investments, expertise and partnerships to the State.
The government is positioning Hyderabad as a city capable of bringing together education, research, technology, startups, sports, life sciences and innovation.
Partnerships with globally recognised institutions such as Cambridge and Liverpool could give additional momentum to this strategy by creating international links for Telangana’s students, entrepreneurs, researchers and sporting talent.
With further discussions expected during the upcoming visits and meetings, Telangana is seeking to convert these international engagements into concrete partnerships and long-term programmes that can contribute to the State’s economic and social development.
