Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday caught GHMC Town Planning Supervisor Ch. Prabhavathi red-handed while accepting a ₹20,000 bribe at Santosh Nagar Circle-25.

The officer allegedly demanded the bribe from a man for processing his building permission file and handing over the building permit order and work commencement letter. The ACB recovered the bribe amount from her possession.

Prabhavathi was produced before the I Additional Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases at Nampally and sent for judicial remand. The ACB said the case is under investigation.
