Officials Must Work in Coordination to Make CM’s Public Meeting a Grand Success: Collector Prateek Jain

In view of the Telangana State Government’s ambitious launch of the *Smart Ration Card distribution programme on August 15, District Collector *Prateek Jain directed officials to make foolproof arrangements for the public meeting to be attended by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy in Sangareddy.

On Thursday, Collector Prateek Jain, along with District SP *Paritosh Pankaj, ISW&S officials and representatives of various departments, inspected and reviewed the arrangements at *Ambedkar Stadium and the surrounding areas of the Municipal Office in Sangareddy.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that as the Chief Minister would inaugurate the Smart Ration Card distribution programme in Sangareddy on August 15, officials of all departments must work in close coordination to ensure the programme is conducted successfully.

He said that Ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, other public representatives and a large number of Smart Ration Card beneficiaries are expected to attend the meeting. Therefore, elaborate arrangements should be made to ensure that the public faces no inconvenience.

The Collector directed officials to complete all arrangements in advance, including the Public Address System, seating arrangements, parking facilities, electricity supply, traffic and access routes. He also instructed officials to effectively discharge the duties and responsibilities assigned to their respective departments.

District SP Paritosh Pankaj said that elaborate security arrangements were being made in view of the Chief Minister’s visit. Necessary security personnel would be deployed along the CM’s travel route, at the meeting venue and in the surrounding areas.

He said special measures were being taken for traffic management, vehicle parking and smooth movement of the public, ensuring that there would be no inconvenience to commuters or attendees.

On the occasion, the ISW SP and DSP gave officials several instructions regarding precautionary measures to be taken at the helipad, vehicle parking areas, public meeting stage, Chief Minister’s route, entry and exit routes, and the meeting venue.

Officials were directed to remain highly alert until the completion of the Chief Minister’s visit and work with close coordination to ensure the smooth conduct of the programme.

Additional SP Chaitanya Reddy, Additional Collector Pandu, RDOs, Tahsildars, officials from various departments, police officials and other concerned officers participated in the inspection.
