Sangareddy, August 19, 2026: As part of the annual inspections, Sangareddy District Superintendent of Police Paritosh Pankaj, IPS, inspected the Zaheerabad Rural Police Station and Zaheerabad Town Circle Office on Wednesday. He reviewed the cleanliness of the premises, maintenance of records, staff kit articles, barracks and overall functioning of the police units.

The SP received a ceremonial salute from the Zaheerabad police and, along with the DSP, planted a sapling on the police station premises. He also reviewed details of seized and case-related vehicles kept at the station and instructed officials to clearly mark the relevant crime number on every vehicle and ensure that case property is safely preserved.

While examining station records, the SP directed officers to ensure quality investigation in every case and prepare special action plans for the speedy disposal of missing cases and long-pending cases. He instructed police to identify crime-prone areas as black spots and strengthen day and night beat patrolling in such locations.

Paritosh Pankaj stressed the importance of mastering modern technology and directed personnel to make effective use of CCTNS 2.0, Petition Management System, TS-COP, HRMS, e-Sakshya, TechDattam, iRAD Darpan, CEIR, Cyber Crime Portal, CDR and portable fingerprint devices. He instructed staff to regularly update Part-1 to Part-5 station records in CCTNS 2.0 without any pendency and advised the Station House Officer to assign duties to personnel on a vertical-wise basis.

Addressing the police personnel, the SP asked them to treat complainants courteously and assure them that their grievances would be addressed. Village Police Officers were directed to have complete knowledge of their respective villages, maintain good relations with village elders and youth, and gather advance information relating to law and order.

He also instructed personnel to maintain updated information about rowdy-sheeters and suspect history-sheeters, conduct regular day and night beat checks and update details online. Police were advised to use Papillon devices to check suspicious persons and identify previous offenders through fingerprints.

The SP emphasized that police personnel must continuously upgrade their technical skills and gain knowledge of all types of duties. He said dedication and efficient performance of assigned responsibilities would help enhance the reputation of the police department. He also assured staff that they could directly bring any official or personal issues to his notice.

He directed police personnel to strictly follow road-safety measures and wear helmets and seat belts while driving. Officers were instructed not to permit personnel who fail to wear helmets to report for duty.

Later, the SP inspected the Zaheerabad Town Circle Office, where he reviewed cleanliness and record maintenance. He examined details of grave cases under investigation and pending non-grave cases within the circle limits. He directed officials to form special teams to trace long-pending missing and NBW cases and ensure their speedy disposal.

The SP also directed officers to take effective measures to prevent road accidents. Accident-prone locations should be identified as black spots and appropriate signboards installed. Special road-safety awareness programmes should be conducted in villages located along the national highway.

Emphasising the importance of CCTV cameras in crime prevention and detection, the SP asked police to create awareness among the public and encourage voluntary installation of CCTV cameras. He particularly directed officials to ensure that dhabas and petrol pumps install cameras at their entry and exit points.

Considering Zaheerabad’s proximity to interstate borders and the possibility of illegal transportation, the SP instructed officials to strengthen surveillance along the state borders and conduct regular nakabandi operations to prevent illegal activities.

The SP expressed satisfaction with the management of the police station and circle office, as well as the maintenance of records, and specially appreciated the officers and staff for their performance. He also announced rewards for personnel who had demonstrated outstanding performance in their duties.

Zaheerabad DSP Saida Naik, Circle Inspector Ravi, Circle SIs and other police personnel accompanied the District SP during the annual inspection.
