Telangana Civil Supplies Department Completes 50 Days of Mission K-100

Hyderabad (August 20, 2026) – The Telangana State Civil Supplies Department has completed a successful 50 days of its strategic 100-day operational action plan, Mission K-100, achieving significant milestones in pending Custom Milled Rice (CMR) evacuation, Clearing warehouse, and fund mobilisation ahead of Kharif 2026–27. During a comprehensive mid-term review meeting chaired by Commissioner of Civil Supplies M. Stephen Raveendra, IPS at Civil Supplies Bhavan, officials evaluated the weekly delivery run-rates and operational readiness across all districts.

In the 50 days since the launch of Mission K-100, the Department has achieved an overall cumulative CMR delivery of 11.17 Lakh Metric Tonnes (LMT), demonstrating strong operational discipline. This includes 8.34 LMT delivered across Weeks I to VI against derived weekly schedules, recording an impressive 74% achievement rate against targeted weekly allocations. The intensive monitoring mechanism has successfully activated 340 previously dormant mills, bringing down zero-delivery units from 1,351 to 1,011 across the state.

To ensure seamless liquidity for the upcoming procurement operations, the Corporation is mobilized funds and achieved 75% of the target. In addition the systematic, phased open auction of surplus paddy is progressing steadily to create adequate godown capacity.

In a move to resolve outstanding dues without disrupting current operations, G.O.Ms.No.9 grants millers a final window to clear their Rabi 2022-23 auctioned paddy arrears. The extension mandates repayment in three phased installments ending on October 31, 2026. The Department issued a stern warning: anyone missing these deadlines will be declared a defaulter and hit with a 25% penalty plus 12% interest.

Vigilance teams are actively conducting intensive field inspections and registering FIRs against defaulters. To safeguard public interests, the Department is ruthlessly executing the Revenue Recovery (RR) Act to seize properties and freeze bank accounts of defaulting millers. Sweeping legal actions, including the invocation of the PD Act against the offenders holding public grain hostage. Furthermore, these offenders will be stripped of any future government allocations.

So, far the recovery of auctioned paddy have yielded a total of Rs. 1,000.57 Crores as of August 19, 2026.
