Free Police Training Screening Test Held in Nizamabad for Constable, SI Aspirants

Nizamabad: A screening test was conducted on Sunday, August 23, 2026, to select unemployed youth for a free police training programme aimed at helping candidates prepare for Telangana Police Constable and Sub-Inspector recruitment examinations.

Nizamabad Police Commissioner P. Sai Chaitanya, IPS, said the Police Commissionerate is providing free training and guidance to talented unemployed youth aspiring to secure jobs in the police department. The programme will focus on written examinations, physical events and other aspects required for the recruitment process.

The screening test was held from 10 AM to 1 PM at three centres across the Nizamabad Police Commissionerate. Candidates from Nizamabad Division appeared at Vijaya Rural Engineering College under Makloor Police Station limits, while candidates from Armur Division took the test at Kshatriya Engineering College, and candidates from Bodhan Division appeared at Junior Inter Degree College.

Police officials made elaborate arrangements at all examination centres to ensure that candidates faced no inconvenience. The examination was conducted smoothly, systematically and transparently under the supervision of senior police officials.

Candidates who perform well in the screening test will be selected for the free training programme and provided comprehensive coaching and guidance for the Constable and SI recruitment examinations, including written tests and physical events.

Commissioner Sai Chaitanya urged unemployed youth to make the best use of the free training programme, undergo training with discipline and work towards securing jobs in the Telangana Police Department.

Additional DCP (Admin) Shubham Prakash, along with ACPs, inspectors, CIs, SHOs, SIs, IT Core staff and other personnel from Nizamabad, Armur, Bodhan, CTC, Traffic, CCS, AR, Task Force and Special Branch units, participated in conducting the screening test.
