Karimnagar: Karimnagar Police Commissioner Gaush Alam, IPS, conducted surprise inspections across the city late Saturday night and personally reviewed the law and order situation.

The CP visited Rajiv Chowk, Saturday Market, Telangana Chowk and the dhaba areas along the bypass road to inspect night patrolling arrangements and check whether police personnel were alert and performing their duties effectively.

During the inspection, the CP interacted with owners of hotels, dhabas, tea shops and pan shops that were operating beyond the permitted closing time. He warned them to strictly follow the prescribed timings and made it clear that action would be taken against establishments operating in violation of regulations.

He directed local police officials to issue notices to shop owners continuing business activities beyond the permitted hours. The CP also instructed officers to maintain continuous surveillance during night hours to prevent anti-social activities.

Gaush Alam ordered officials to further strengthen night patrolling across the city to maintain law and order and ensure a sense of security among the public. He directed police to increase surveillance on suspicious persons and vehicles and ensure continuous patrolling in vulnerable areas.

The CP said police personnel would remain constantly vigilant and that there would be no compromise when it comes to public safety.
