Sangareddy/Narayanakhed: Telangana Health and Medical Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha said the state government is taking steps to strengthen the public healthcare system and ensure that nearly 90 percent of medical treatments are available at the district level.

The Minister made these remarks during his visit to Narayanakhed constituency in Sangareddy district, where he inaugurated the newly established Balaji Anuradha Super Speciality Hospital in Narayanakhed town along with local MLA Dr. Sanjeeva Reddy.

During the visit, the Minister inspected various departments of the hospital and appreciated the management for establishing advanced medical facilities keeping in mind the healthcare needs of people in the Narayanakhed region.

Rajanarsimha said the Telangana government is giving high priority to the development of the education and healthcare sectors. He stated that efforts are being made to strengthen government hospitals and public healthcare services so that people can access around 90 percent of required medical treatments at the district level itself.

He further said that public confidence in government hospitals is steadily increasing due to the improved services being provided. The government, he added, is committed to making quality healthcare more accessible to people across the state.

District Collector Prateek Jain, District Superintendent of Police Paritosh Pankaj, Narayanakhed Sub-Collector Harini, hospital administrators Dr. Patlolla Anurag Reddy and Dr. K. Sridhar, local public representatives and hospital staff were present at the programme.
