Hyderabad Metro Faces Technical Glitch, Passengers Face Long Queues

Hyderabad, August 29: Passengers at several Hyderabad Metro stations faced inconvenience on Saturday following a technical glitch that reportedly affected scanners at the entry and exit gates.

According to reports, commuters were unable to scan their QR codes to enter or exit the stations, leading to long queues near the gates. The disruption particularly affected passengers using QR-based tickets and online ticketing services.

Metro staff were reportedly assisting passengers while efforts were underway to restore the affected services. An official statement from Hyderabad Metro Rail regarding the technical issue is awaited.
