Tandur, Telangana: Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy urged Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers to strengthen the party at the grassroots and expressed confidence that the BJP would win all three Assembly constituencies in Vikarabad district in the next Telangana Assembly elections.

Addressing a party meeting in Tandur, Kishan Reddy congratulated Ramesh on his appointment as the BJP’s Vikarabad district president and called upon party leaders and workers to work in coordination to further strengthen the organization.

Recalling the BJP’s earlier electoral successes in the region during the leadership of Tiger Narendra, Baddam Bal Reddy and Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, he said the party has a strong foundation in Tandur and can achieve a major victory through united efforts.

Kishan Reddy also reflected on the BJP’s early days, saying he was among those who carried the party’s first flag in July 1980 alongside Sarveshwar Reddy and Bal Reddy. He said the BJP has a history of taking on the AIMIM and winning public support in the region.

Criticizing successive governments in Telangana, the Union Minister alleged that the previous BRS government was marked by “family rule,” while accusing the present Congress government of running a “commission-based administration.” He claimed that ministers and MLAs were collecting 30% commissions in sectors such as real estate, construction and contracts.

He further alleged that Telangana, once formed with a surplus budget, is now burdened with debt of around ₹13 lakh crore and claimed that even retired employees are facing delays in receiving their benefits. He blamed both the BRS and Congress governments for the state’s financial condition.

Defending the BJP-led Union government, Kishan Reddy said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has faced no corruption allegations during his tenure. He highlighted the government’s actions against terrorism, the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, measures for the welfare of Muslim women, free food grain distribution for the poor, and subsidies for farmers. He also criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his remarks against the Prime Minister.

Appealing to the people of Telangana, Kishan Reddy urged voters to give the BJP an opportunity to provide “good governance” in the state. He also called on party workers to remain united, engage with the public, raise people’s issues, and work towards bringing the BJP to power in Telangana.
