Attapur Police Counsel History-Sheeters Ahead of Ganesh Navratri Celebrations

Hyderabad: Ahead of the upcoming Ganesh Navratri celebrations, Attapur Police under the Rajendranagar Division conducted a special counselling session for history-sheeters to maintain law and order and prevent any untoward incidents during the festivities.

The programme, titled “Nazar on Rowdy Sheeters,” was organised at Attapur Police Station. Of the 72 history-sheeters registered under the station limits, 45 attended the counselling session. Police officials issued strict instructions to ensure that no activities disrupt public peace during the festival.

The police directed the participants to stay away from criminal, anti-social and unlawful activities. They were also instructed to immediately inform the police about any suspicious activity, illegal behaviour or other information that could affect public safety.

History-sheeters were further told to obtain prior permission and inform the designated Sector Sub-Inspector before leaving the police station jurisdiction or city limits. Police warned that strict legal action would be taken against anyone violating the instructions.

The counselling session was conducted by Attapur SHO and Inspector A. Seethaiah, along with Sub-Inspectors Srinivasulu and Jayaraj, Head Constable Krishna and other police personnel.

The Attapur Police said the initiative was aimed at ensuring peaceful and safe Ganesh Navratri celebrations and preventing possible law-and-order issues.
