Hyderabad, August 31, 2026: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka directed all government departments to work in close coordination to organise the Invest Telangana Global Summit–2026 in a prestigious and successful manner. He instructed officials to plan and monitor all arrangements well in advance to ensure there are no lapses.

The Deputy Chief Minister held a review meeting with senior officials at Praja Bhavan on Monday. The summit, organised by the Telangana government, will be held on December 7, 8 and 9, 2026. IT & Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju and other senior officials attended the meeting.

Special War Room and Committees

Bhatti Vikramarka directed officials to establish a special war room at Praja Bhavan to monitor preparations on a daily basis and facilitate quick decision-making. He also instructed officials to constitute various committees headed by senior IAS officers, including Advisory, Executive, Invitation, Hospitality, Programme Designing, Media, Contact & Communication and MoU committees.

He directed officials to finalise a dedicated logo for the summit and constitute the Advisory and Executive Committees at the earliest. The summit programme should effectively showcase Telangana’s investment opportunities, incentives and growth potential to industrialists, investors and international delegates.

Curtain-Raiser Event in Delhi

The Deputy Chief Minister suggested organising a Curtain-Raiser event in New Delhi during the first or second week of October to provide wider national and international publicity to the summit. Officials were asked to prepare plans to invite foreign diplomats, Union Ministers, Telangana officials and other prominent personalities.

He also directed officials to undertake extensive publicity through print, electronic and social media platforms. Hoardings will be installed at major junctions and key locations across Hyderabad to highlight Telangana’s investment opportunities and development prospects.

Planning Secretary Gaurav Uppal was directed to coordinate with all departments involved in the summit arrangements and submit a daily progress report to the Deputy Chief Minister covering committee responsibilities, implementation status, pending issues and next steps.

Bhatti Vikramarka said the summit should project Telangana as one of the world’s leading investment destinations and stressed that coordinated efforts by all government departments would be crucial for its success.

Senior officials, including Special Chief Secretary (Energy) Naveen Mittal, Finance Principal Secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Planning Secretary Gaurav Uppal, Future City CMD Shashanka, TRANSCO CMD Krishna Bhaskar, and SPDCL CMD Jitesh V. Patil, also attended the meeting.
