Sangareddy, August 31, 2026: District Collector Prateek Jain has ordered the suspension of P. Shailaja, Principal of Budhera Social Welfare Residential Women’s Degree College in Munipally Mandal.

The action was taken following complaints alleging administrative lapses, negligence in duties and inappropriate handling of students. A team comprising Constituency Special Officer Jagadeesh, Mandal Special Officer Ramachari and District Coordinator Kalpana inspected the college and submitted a detailed report to the Collector.

After reviewing the report, the Collector found negligence in the discharge of duties and shortcomings in college management. He directed officials to ensure proper facilities and a conducive educational environment for students, stressing that negligence in the management of residential educational institutions would not be tolerated.
