Vikarabad, August 30: Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy and BJP Chevella MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy inspected the ongoing modernisation works at Vikarabad Railway Station, being developed at an estimated cost of ₹27 crore.

The leaders reviewed the progress of the project and inspected the ongoing development works. They directed railway officials to ensure that the modernisation is completed within the stipulated time while maintaining quality standards.

Speaking on the occasion, Kishan Reddy said that 42 railway stations across Telangana are being developed simultaneously as part of the railway modernisation efforts.

He said the Vikarabad station is being upgraded with several modern facilities, including two escalators, two lifts, a canteen and facilities for persons with disabilities, along with other passenger amenities.

Kishan Reddy said improved railway infrastructure and connectivity would contribute significantly to the overall development of Vikarabad and benefit passengers and the local population.
