Unprecedented Arrangements at Mecca Masjid Ahead of Ramzan Under Azharuddin’s Leadership

Ahead of the holy month of Ramzan, Telangana’s Minorities Minister Azharuddin personally led a high-level inspection and coordination meeting at the historic Mecca Masjid to ensure seamless and well-organised arrangements for worshippers.
The inspection was attended by TMRIES Chairman Faheem Qureshi, Zulfiqar Ali, along with senior officials from the police department, GHMC, Telangana State Waqf Board, and other concerned departments.
During the review, the Minister issued clear instructions to all departments to complete every pending work well before the commencement of Ramzan. Special emphasis was laid on sanitation, drinking water, lighting, electricity supply, security, and essential facilities for devotees.
Addressing officials, Azharuddin conveyed a firm yet positive message, stating that lakhs of worshippers visit Mecca Masjid during Ramzan and no inconvenience to them would be tolerated. He assured that the government is fully sensitive to the sentiments and needs of the Muslim community and is committed to providing the best possible arrangements throughout the holy month.
The Minister further informed that police and administrative authorities have been directed to remain on high alert, with special focus on security measures and effective crowd management.
