Sangareddy, Telangana: On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Telangana People’s Poet and Padma Vibhushan Awardee Dr. Kaloji Narayana Rao, the District Police Office, Sangareddy paid a grand tribute by garlanding the portrait of Kaloji Narayana Rao with flowers. The tribute was offered by ER DSP Narendra.

Speaking on the occasion, ER DSP Narendra highlighted that Dr. Kaloji Narayana Rao was a literary warrior who contributed immensely to Telugu literature and the Telangana movement. He expressed that Kaloji’s poetry resonated deeply with the people of Telangana, conveying profound thoughts in a simple manner understandable to everyone. Kaloji stood as a brave voice opposing the oppressive rule of the Nizam and actively participated not only in the Telangana movement but also in India’s freedom struggle.

DSP Narendra emphasized that Kaloji dedicated his entire life to the service of Telangana people. He strongly raised his voice against the suppression of the Telangana language and is remembered for wielding his pen to fight for the rights of the people. In recognition of his contributions, the Telangana Government declared Kaloji’s birth anniversary as Telangana Language Day.
