Nirmal, Dec. 15(Abdul Majid): The randomisation process for officials assigned election duties for the third phase of the Gram Panchayat elections was completed on Monday evening at the Collectorate conference hall under the supervision of District Collector Abhilasha Abhinav.

The randomisation was conducted mandal-wise for officers who will perform election-related responsibilities in the third phase. District Collector Abhilasha Abhinav personally oversaw the process.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector stated that an adequate number of Returning Officers (ROs) and Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) have been appointed to ensure smooth conduct of the elections. She informed that sufficient staff is available for election management and that an additional 20 per cent of officers have been kept in reserve to avoid any shortage of personnel during the polling process.

Addressing the officials, the Collector said that the first two phases of the Gram Panchayat elections were conducted successfully with effective coordination among officers and expressed confidence that the third phase would also be completed smoothly. She added that strong and comprehensive arrangements have been made for the upcoming phase of elections.

Additional Collectors Faizan Ahmed and Kishore Kumar, District Panchayat Officer Srinivas, District Education Officer Bhojanna, Zilla Parishad CEO Shankar, along with other officials and staff, were present during the randomisation programme.
