HYDERABAD: Senior BRS leader and MLC Dr. Sravan Dasoju launched a scathing attack on the BJP and Congress, stating that while they act as rivals at the national level, they are maintaining an “unholy nexus” in Telangana. Speaking passionately at a media conference held at Telangana Bhavan on Wednesday, he exposed the double standards of both parties, alleging they have conspired to spew venom against KCR Garu and the BRS party.
Vedire Sriram in BJP.. But Singing Revanth’s Tune!
“We strongly condemn Vedire Sriram Reddy, former advisor to the Union Jal Shakti Ministry, for sitting in the BJP office and presenting PPTs in support of Revanth Reddy. Vedire Sriram, are you a son of Telangana or an agent for Revanth Reddy?” Dr. Sravan questioned. He criticized Sriram for subservience to Revanth Reddy, comparing him to Adityanath Das, who worked against Telangana’s interests to favor Andhra. He further demanded to know what a BJP leader was doing in official irrigation meetings at Jala Soudha.
Congress is the Sinner of Krishna Waters!
Dr. Sravan reminded the public that it was the then Congress government under Kiran Kumar Reddy that caused irreparable loss to Telangana by allocating only 299 TMC of water.

• KCR’s Struggle: KCR Garu wrote 28 letters to the Center demanding a 50:50 share in Krishna waters.
• Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation: It was KCR Garu who fought in the NGT (National Green Tribunal) to stop the illegal project being built by AP. Dr. Sravan noted that even Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat admitted they wrote to the AP government only due to KCR’s pressure.

  “Kaleshwaram pillars can be repaired by spending just ₹100–200 crores. Instead of doing that, the Revanth government is trying to kill the project entirely. Why is the BJP not questioning a Chief Minister who cannot protect public assets but wastes hundreds of crores on Miss World competitions and football matches with Messi?” he asked.

• Ayacut (Irrigation Area): While only 42.77 lakh acres were under irrigation in 60 years (1956–2014), the KCR government provided water to an additional 48.74 lakh acres.
• Paddy Production: Increased from 68 lakh tonnes in 2014 to 2.70 crore tonnes by 2023 (a four-fold growth).
• Groundwater: Thanks to Kaleshwaram, groundwater levels in the state rose by an average of 5.36 meters.
• Reverse Migration: Sons of Palamuru, who once migrated for work, have returned and are now finding employment in their own villages.
  Those Who Lost Deposits Shouldn’t Criticize Us!
  “The fact that the BJP failed to even secure its deposit in constituencies like Jubilee Hills proves to the people that you have sold yourselves to the Congress. At least now, start questioning the ‘RR Tax’ extortion. Stop declaring war on the opposition just because you have power; instead, fulfill the promises made to the people. Otherwise, the citizens will teach you a lesson.
