Telangana Minority Commission Chairman Visits Brave Citizen Injured During Criminal Arrest, Praises Courage Against Crime

Hyderabad: October 23 (Rast) – Following a recent incident in Nizamabad city, where CCS constable Parmod lost his life during an attack by accused Sheikh Riyaz, the police intensified efforts to apprehend the suspect. During this operation, Mohammed Asif Khan played a crucial role by informing the police about Sheikh Riyaz’s whereabouts and bravely assisting in his arrest.

In the process, Asif Khan was seriously injured when the suspect attacked him with a knife. He was immediately admitted to Hyderabad’s Corporation Hospital, where Mr. Tariq Ansari, Chairman of the Telangana Minority Commission, visited him on Thursday afternoon to inquire about his health and treatment progress.

Praising Mohammed Asif Khan’s bravery, Mr. Ansari urged all young citizens to follow his example by remaining vigilant and actively contributing to the fight against crime. He emphasized that due to widespread social evils, such unfortunate incidents occur frequently, and it is essential for both police and responsible members of society to work together in maintaining public safety.

Mr. Ansari also welcomed the police department’s provision of all possible assistance for Asif Khan’s treatment, including medical care, financial aid, and the announcement of employment in the Home Guard, describing his actions as a commendable and praiseworthy act of courage..
