“Shadow Educational Society Hosts Grand Meeting on Women’s Empowerment and Education in Hyderabad”

Hyderabad, December 21 (Patriotic Views): A grand public meeting titled “Arrival of the New Year – A Time for Reflection and Lessons” was organized by the Shadow Educational Society, Hyderabad, under the leadership of Mr. Nisar Ahmed and Mr. Mukhtar Ahmed. The event took place at Makhtab Mahd, Syed Ahmed Hakim Pate MLA Colony, where a range of insightful speeches were delivered on various topics, including the importance of religious and worldly education for women.

The event began with the recitation of the Quran, followed by the presentation of Na’at. The program was conducted smoothly, inviting the attendees to reflect on the topics discussed.

The special guest, Maulana Mohammad Riyaz Ahmed Qadri Hasami (Principal of Madrasa Islamia Riyazul Uloom, Falaknuma), delivered a thought-provoking speech on the role and significance of women. He stated, “Islam not only permits but encourages women to pursue education and skills. Their role in strengthening family foundations is crucial, and their education is the key to the development of not only the family but society at large.” He emphasized the importance of drawing inspiration from the lives of the female companions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), particularly Hazrat Khadijah’s support to the Prophet and Hazrat Aisha’s educational contributions.

Maulana Hasami also praised the Shadow Educational Society’s initiative of teaching women skills like tailoring and mehndi designing, noting that such programs empower women and contribute to the betterment of their families.

The meeting was presided over by Maulana Mujeebur Rahman Qasmi (Director of Education, Madrasa Islamia Riyazul Uloom, Falaknuma). He highlighted that the arrival of the new year is a reminder for everyone to reflect on their past actions and reassess their goals for the coming year.

He also addressed the significance of women’s roles in Islam, mentioning the honor Islam bestows upon them as mothers, daughters, and wives. He stressed that a complete Islamic society cannot be imagined without women playing their rightful roles. Furthermore, Maulana Qasmi urged the importance of respecting and obeying parents, as this leads to spiritual fulfillment.

Another notable session included a segment for women to learn the complete method of offering prayer under the “Aao Namaz Seekhain” campaign, led by Maulana Amir Qasmi, President of the Shariat Protection Trust, and Maulana Abdul Rashid Talha Nomani, General Secretary of the Trust.

At the conclusion of the event, certificates were distributed to 25 students who successfully completed the tailoring and mehndi designing courses organized by the Shadow Educational Society. The attendees congratulated these students on their success.

Special recognition was given to the event’s organizers, Mufti Suleiman Saud Rashidi and Maulana Salman Ahmad Qasmi, for their tireless efforts in ensuring the program’s success. The leadership of the Shadow Educational Society was also praised for their dedication to empowering women through education and skills training.

The event concluded with a prayer for the progress of the Muslim community, the promotion of women’s education, and the advancement of Islamic values. The attendees found the meeting to be both inspiring and enriching, reflecting on the importance of education and empowerment for women in the community.
