Shabbir Ali Announces Night-Long Opening of Shops Across Telangana During Ramzan

Advisor to the Telangana Government (SC, ST, OBC & Minorities) Mohammed Ali Shabbir, along with Minorities Welfare Minister Md Azharuddin, on Thursday reviewed the arrangements for the ensuing holy month of Ramzan at a high-level meeting held at the Telangana Secretariat.
The meeting was attended by several public representatives, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs, Chairmen of various corporations, and senior government officials. The discussions focused on ensuring smooth facilities and public convenience during Ramzan across the state.
Speaking on the occasion, Shabbir Ali said that shops and commercial establishments would be permitted to remain open throughout the night across Telangana during the holy month, keeping in mind the needs of people observing fasts and participating in Ramzan-related activities.
Minorities Welfare Minister Md Azharuddin emphasized the government’s commitment to providing all necessary arrangements, including civic amenities, sanitation, drinking water, electricity, and law and order measures, to facilitate peaceful observance of Ramzan.
Officials were directed to coordinate closely with local administrations, police, and municipal departments to ensure that all arrangements are put in place well in advance, reflecting the government’s focus on inclusive governance and respect for religious practices.
