Section 30 and 30(A) of Police Act to Remain in Force Across Sangareddy District Throughout September

Sangareddy: Sangareddy Superintendent of Police Paritosh Pankaj, IPS, has announced that Sections 30 and 30(A) of the Police Act, 1861, will remain in force across the district from September 1 to September 30 to maintain public order and ensure law and order.

In a press statement issued on Monday, the SP said that during this period, no dharnas, road blockades, protests, rallies, public meetings, assemblies or gatherings will be permitted without obtaining prior permission from the police.

He urged members of the public, elected representatives and leaders of various organisations to strictly adhere to the restrictions and refrain from organising any event without prior approval.

The SP also warned against any unlawful activities that could disturb public peace or result in damage to public property. He appealed to the public and organisation leaders to cooperate with the police in maintaining law and order across the district.

He further cautioned that strict legal action would be initiated against anyone found violating the prohibitory orders or organising events without the required police permission.
