Revenue, Housing and Information & Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Monday announced that a new integrated software is being developed to link the Revenue, Stamps & Registrations, and Survey departments in order to provide more transparent and efficient services to the public.

Speaking after a review meeting with officials of Revenue, Stamps & Registrations, Survey departments and NIC at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat, the Minister said that as per the Bhubharati Act, survey maps must be attached to registrations. To facilitate this, the Bhubharati portal is being upgraded to link survey maps and ensure smooth operations without technical glitches.

He directed NIC officials to incorporate a court case monitoring system in the new software to make it more comprehensive.

Highlighting the government’s commitment to resolving land disputes, he said that while re-survey has already been completed in five villages without maps, re-survey will begin shortly in another 408 villages. “This survey will serve as a guideline for resolving land disputes in Telangana in the future,” he said.

The meeting was attended by Revenue Secretary D.S. Lokesh Kumar, Stamps & Registrations IG Rajeev Gandhi Hanumantu, CCLA Secretary Mandha Makarand, NIC SIO Prasad, Vijay Mohan, Krishna, and other officials.
