Nirmal, Dec. 14(Abdul Majid): Road repair works were carried out in Ward No. 41 of Nirmal town, including Johar Nagar and Ashabi House Road, under a special QR code–based drive initiated by District Collector Abhilasha Abhinav.

Several internal roads and lanes in the town were damaged due to heavy rains and flooding during the recent monsoon. To ensure quick redressal, the district administration enabled residents to upload photographs and details of potholes and damaged roads through a specially created QR code.

Acting on the complaints received from the public, officials undertook immediate repairs to the affected roads in Johar Nagar. Residents of the colony expressed their gratitude to the District Collector for the prompt action and effective implementation of the initiative.

Those who participated included Mohammed Nayeemuddin, BRS Party Nirmal Town General Secretary; Mohammed Azeem, senior Congress leader; Mohammed Nayeem, senior leader; Maison, Nawab, Faheem, along with other local residents.
