Police Urged to Use Scientific and Technological Methods for Faster Case Resolution
Additional DCP (Admin) G. Baswa Reddy inaugurates three-day Station Writers Training Programme in Nizamabad
Nizamabad, December 23 (MD Akber- Patriotic Views): Nizamabad Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Administration) G. Baswa Reddy on Monday urged police personnel to adopt scientific methods and modern technology to control crime and ensure swift case resolution. Speaking at the inauguration of the three-day Station Writers Training Programme at the Command Control Hall of the Police Commissionerate, he emphasized maintaining quality and accuracy in investigations from FIR registration to final report submission. G. Baswa Reddy detailed procedures including panchanama preparation, recording confessional statements, statement documentation, and strict confidentiality. He guided participants on applying new laws, linking crimes with crime scenes, handling old cases, and using forensic science until charge sheet submission in courts. He instructed trainees to share knowledge with their staff upon returning to police stations. Additionally, he warned against cybercrime, advising against opening unknown links during the New Year season to prevent financial loss.
