New Delhi, August 26, 2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday extended his greetings to people on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi and expressed hope that the festival would promote togetherness, happiness and goodwill across society.

Milad-un-Nabi is observed to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad.

In a post on X, Prime Minister Modi said, “Eid Mubarak! Greetings on Milad-un-Nabi. I hope this occasion furthers togetherness and joy all around us. May the spirit of kindness and giving back to society always guide us.”

The Prime Minister also wished that the occasion would inspire people to embrace kindness and contribute positively to society.
