Nirmal,Dec 28(Abdul Majid)Mr. Patthipaka Saikiran, IPS, formally assumed charge as the new Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Nirmal District on December 25, 2025.

On the occasion, officers and staff extended a warm welcome to him at the SDPO Office. After assuming charge, the newly appointed ASP held an introductory meeting with police personnel.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Saikiran stated that his priority would be the maintenance of law and order, effective crime control, and the delivery of people-friendly policing in the district. He emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts among all units of the police department to ensure public safety and build trust between the police and the community.

He further assured that strict action would be taken against unlawful activities while simultaneously ensuring prompt and fair redressal of public grievances. The ASP called upon police personnel to discharge their duties with dedication, discipline, and a sense of responsibility towards the public.
