Over 14 New Sub-Registrars Appointed in Stamps & Registration Department: Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy Emphasizes Integrity and Dedication

Telangana Minister for Revenue, Housing, and Information & Public Relations, *Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, stated that employment opportunities for youth have increased under the leadership of Chief Minister *Revanth Reddy in the Congress-led Telangana government. He emphasized that these opportunities are being provided based on merit, integrity, and discipline.
On Thursday, 14 officials newly appointed as Sub-Registrars in the Stamps & Registration Department through Group-2 Public Service Commission appointments met Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy at the state secretariat to express their gratitude. The minister congratulated them and presented Indian Stamp Act books to the newly appointed Sub-Registrars.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister highlighted that over the past decade, unemployment among youth had created frustration and shattered hopes due to delays, negligence, and irregularities in recruitment processes under previous governments. He criticized the earlier administration for mismanagement, including paper leaks and poorly conducted examinations, which prevented deserving youth from securing jobs.
Minister Ponguleti noted that the Congress government, fulfilling election promises and under the guidance of CM Revanth Reddy, has prioritized recruitment processes. As a result, *over 70,000 jobs have been filled in the past 20 months. The government has also expanded initiatives for *self-employment opportunities for unemployed youth across various departments.
Specifically, in the *Revenue Department, appointments of GPWs were made, while in the **Housing Department, nearly 350 engineers were employed through outsourcing. The *Survey Department also provided employment to 3,465 licensed surveyors, creating substantial job opportunities.
The minister advised the newly appointed officials to serve the public efficiently, maintain honesty, and uphold the reputation of the government. He stressed that the Stamps & Registration Department must operate with utmost care, avoiding any temptations, and perform duties with integrity, dedication, and discipline.
