Nizamabad Police Issue Comprehensive Restrictions to Maintain Public Order Till December 31
Nizamabad, December 15 (MD Akber- Patriotic Views): In view of public safety, law and order, and civic discipline, Nizamabad Police Commissioner P. Sai Chaitanya, IPS, on Monday issued a detailed set of prohibitory and regulatory instructions applicable across the Nizamabad, Armoor, and Bodhan divisions from December 15 to December 31. The Commissioner made it clear that installation of idols causing public inconvenience is strictly prohibited, particularly in crowded areas, parks and government premises, and prior approval from the District Collector-led committee is mandatory. To curb noise pollution, high-decibel DJ systems are banned, with sound levels restricted to 55 decibels in residential and commercial areas during night hours, and a complete ban on DJ systems from 10 pm to 6 am without police permission. Processions, public meetings, and rallies using loud sound systems are prohibited without prior approval, with specific permissions required for gatherings exceeding 500 people. Strict security norms and queue systems are mandated at malls, theatres, hotels, exhibitions, and business establishments. Drone usage is restricted without clearance from government, police, and aviation authorities. The public was warned against fake Gulf agents cheating job seekers and urged to inform police about suspicious activities. The screening of ‘A’ certificate films to minors, public consumption of alcohol, and related indecent behavior are banned.
