Nizamabad, January 2 (MD Akber- Patriotic Views): In the interest of maintaining public order, safety and communal harmony, the Nizamabad Police Commissionerate has issued a detailed set of guidelines applicable from January 1 to January 15, 2026, Police Commissioner P. Sai Chaitanya, IPS, announced. The orders regulate idol installations, noise control, public meetings, security norms, drone usage, prevention of fake Gulf agents, cinema certification compliance and public conduct. The Commissioner clarified that idols must not be installed in congested areas, parks, or government premises, and prior permission from the District Collector-led committee is mandatory. DJ systems and loud sound are strictly prohibited beyond prescribed decibel limits, with a complete ban from 10 pm to 6 am without police permission. Processions, rallies and public meetings require prior approval, with gatherings exceeding 500 people needing Assistant Commissioner of Police permission and larger events requiring Police Commissioner clearance 72 hours in advance. Security arrangements and queue systems are mandatory at malls, theatres, hotels and business venues. Drone usage is restricted without clearance from government, police and aviation authorities. The public has been cautioned against fake Gulf agents and urged to inform police of suspicious activities. Theatres are barred from allowing minors to watch ‘A’ certificate films, while public consumption of alcohol has been banned due to concerns over harassment and public nuisance. Strict legal action will be taken against violators across Nizamabad, Armoor and Bodhan divisions, the Commissioner warned.
