Nizamabad Muslims Condemn Alleged Misconduct by Bihar Chief Minister

Nizamabad, December 19 (MD Akber–Patriotic Views): Muslims in Nizamabad on Friday staged a protest at Mecca Masjid, strongly condemning the alleged misconduct of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar during the distribution of appointment letters to AYUSH doctors in Bihar, where he was reportedly seen behaving in an inappropriate manner with a woman doctor. The protest was led by Mohammed Mansoor Ali, Ashfaq Ahmed Papa Khan, Shaik Firdouse Social worker, and Abdul Majeed who said the Chief Minister allegedly pulled down the woman doctor’s hijab, causing visible distress, humiliation, and widespread shock. The protesters stated that such an act violates personal dignity, women’s bodily autonomy, and core constitutional values, stressing that hijab and niqab are integral to religious freedom and protected rights. They also condemned Sanjay Nishad for his controversial remarks following the incident. Emphasising accountability, the leaders demanded appropriate legal action in accordance with law and underscored that anyone holding the highest executive office must demonstrate restraint, sensitivity, and ethical responsibility. The gathering unanimously demanded a public and unconditional apology, asserting that the safety, honour, and dignity of women must be upheld without compromise.
