Narayanpet, December 13, 2025: ( Abdul Raheem /Patriotic Views) As part of the strict enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct during the election period, Narayanpet Town Police conducted a raid and seized a large quantity of illicit liquor in Narayanpet mandal.

Acting on credible information, the police raided Ashok Goud Kirana Store located in Perapalli village, where liquor was being illegally stored. During the operation, the police seized a total of 181 litres of liquor, which was later shifted to the Narayanpet Town Police Station.

Town Sub-Inspector Venkateshwarlu stated that the estimated value of the seized liquor is approximately Rs. 65,600. A case has been registered against the accused, Ashok Goud, for illegal possession of liquor, and further investigation is underway.

The Sub-Inspector warned that strict action will be taken against anyone involved in the illegal storage or distribution of liquor and cash during the election period. He also appealed to the public to cooperate with the police and report any such illegal activities to ensure free and fair elections.
