Minority Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin Inspires Trainee Civil Servants at Dr. MCR HRD Institute

Minister for Minority Welfare and Business Enterprises, Government of Telangana, Sri Mohammed Azharuddin, attended a special programme at the Dr. Marri Channa Reddy Human Resource Development Institute (Dr. MCR HRD Institute) as the Chief Guest, where he interacted with trainee civil servants and motivated them to serve the nation with dedication, discipline and integrity.

Addressing the trainee IAS, IPS, AIS and CCS cadres, the Minister spoke about leadership, responsibility and the importance of public service. In a lighter and friendly moment, he shared a humorous reference to Hyderabadi Biryani, which brought smiles and applause from the trainees and created an engaging atmosphere.

During the event, Sri Mohammed Azharuddin also signed a cricket bat, which was received with great enthusiasm by the trainee officers. The moment became a highlight of the programme and served as a source of inspiration, symbolising sportsmanship, excellence and commitment.

As part of the programme, the trainee civil servants actively participated in various sports and recreational competitions, including Track Events (100 metres, 200 metres, 400 metres and 4×100 metres relay), Long Jump, Shot Put, Discus Throw, Musical Chairs , Football and Tug-of-War. From the very beginning, the trainees displayed a strong ‘can-do’ spirit, teamwork and determination.

The participants demonstrated the spirit of breathe, believe and battle, proving that it is hard to defeat a person who never gives up. Trainees won medals in different events, encouraging fitness, unity and healthy competition among future administrators.

The event was organised under the leadership of Chief Secretary to the Government of Telangana, Smt. A. Santhi Kumari, who is also the Vice-Chairperson of the Dr. Marri Channa Reddy Human Resource Development Institute. Senior officials, faculty members and trainees of the Institute were present on the occasion.

The programme successfully highlighted the importance of physical fitness, positive attitude and interaction between senior leadership and future civil servants.
