Minister Seethakka Visits Saidabad Observation Home
Hyderabad, Patriotic Views – Minister Seethakka paid a visit to the Observation Home in Saidabad on Wednesday, where she interacted with the juveniles residing there and reviewed the facilities and welfare measures being extended to them.
The Minister personally enquired about the living conditions, education, and vocational training opportunities provided to the children. During her interaction, she emphasized that the Observation Home should not be seen as a place of punishment but as a center of transformation and positive change.
Addressing the juveniles, Seethakka said, “Mistakes may have been committed knowingly or unknowingly, but the past should be left behind. What matters is how you shape your future. You must return to society as reformed and responsible citizens who contribute positively to the nation.”
As part of her visit, the Minister inaugurated a newly established library for the juveniles, aimed at encouraging reading habits and broadening knowledge. The library was set up through the initiative of Akharshana, a Class 9 student of Hyderabad Public School. Recognizing her efforts to promote education and knowledge-sharing, Minister Seethakka felicitated Akharshana with a shawl, appreciating her thoughtfulness and contribution.
The Minister noted that such initiatives help in building a constructive environment for the children, providing them with the resources to learn, reflect, and prepare for a better future. She reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring that juveniles in observation homes are given not just shelter but also opportunities for education, moral guidance, and rehabilitation.
