KTR Slams Revanth Reddy’s “Threat Politics”, Predicts Congress Collapse in Jubilee Hills

Hyderabad, November 1, 2025:
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the ruling Congress government during a massive roadshow at Rahmath Nagar Division under the Jubilee Hills constituency. Addressing a large gathering of enthusiastic supporters, KTR accused the Chief Minister of resorting to intimidation tactics and failing to deliver on promises made to the people of Telangana.

“This is not a Telangana that bows down to threats,” KTR thundered. “If Revanth Reddy dares to cancel welfare schemes, the same people of Jubilee Hills will bring down his government. Telangana has seen many dictators rise and fall — Revanth will be no different.”

KTR alleged that Revanth Reddy had lost control and was speaking “recklessly out of fear of defeat.” He claimed that the Chief Minister’s “arrogance and frustration” had reached their peak as the Jubilee Hills by-election drew closer.

At the Sriram Nagar bus stand, KTR recalled that BRS candidate Maganti Gopinath had previously won the division with a 6,000-vote majority and expressed confidence that the margin would double this time. “Every survey says BRS will win Jubilee Hills with a massive majority,” he said, predicting a decisive defeat for the Congress.

He praised the late leader Gopinath for his contributions in protecting crores worth of land and solving civic problems, while condemning Congress for politicising an emotional moment when Gopinath’s wife, Maganti Suneetha, broke down remembering her husband. “Even tears are being mocked by this shameless Congress government,” KTR remarked.

KTR further criticised the Congress government for failing to fulfil its pre-election promises, including ₹4,000 pensions for women and senior citizens, Scooties for girls, and ₹2,500 monthly support for youth. “Not one of these promises has been kept,” he said.

Taking a dig at the government’s welfare policies, he said:

“They talk about free bus travel for women, but men are being charged double. There are no KCR Kits, no Bathukamma sarees, no Ramzan or Christmas gifts — everything has been cancelled.”

Highlighting unemployment concerns, KTR reminded the crowd that the Congress had promised two lakh government jobs and *₹4,000 as unemployment allowance, but “neither materialised.” He also accused the Congress of betraying minorities and running what he called a *‘settlement government’**.

“Revanth’s bond with Congress is fake — but his bond with BJP comes from the stomach,” KTR quipped, drawing laughter from the audience.

The BRS leader alleged that the Congress government had created fear among the poor by demolishing homes under the HyDRA project. “Real estate is in ruins, and people live in fear of bulldozers,” he said.

Predicting the downfall of the Congress regime, KTR declared:

“If Congress loses its deposit in Jubilee Hills, KCR will return as Chief Minister within 500 days.”

He appealed to voters to support BRS candidate Maganti Suneetha, promising a government that listens to the people. “On November 11, vote for the Car symbol. Every vote in Jubilee Hills will strengthen Telangana’s future,” he said.

Concluding his fiery address, KTR told the crowd,

“Telangana Bhavan is your Janata Garage — if anyone troubles you, we will take care of it. Telangana has taught lessons to dictators before, and now it will teach one to Revanth Reddy.”

The rally ended amid loud cheers and chants of “KTR! KTR!” as supporters pledged to secure a decisive victory for the BRS in the upcoming Jubilee Hills bypoll.
