KTR Lashes Out at Congress: “Only When Congress Loses Its Deposit in Jubilee Hills Will Its 420 Promises and Six Guarantees Be Fulfilled”

Hyderabad, October 31:
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) launched a scathing attack on the ruling Congress government, saying that the people of Telangana will benefit only when the Congress loses its deposit in the upcoming Jubilee Hills by-election.

Addressing a massive roadshow in Shaikpet in support of Maganti Sunitha, wife of late MLA Maganti Gopinath, KTR said that the Congress government’s defeat in Jubilee Hills will serve as a lesson to the party. “Only if 4 lakh people in Jubilee Hills teach Congress a lesson will 4 crore people of Telangana benefit,” he remarked.

KTR accused the Congress of deceiving the public with “420 promises and six false guarantees”, asserting that the party’s two-year rule has been a complete failure. “Not a single promise has been implemented. The Revanth Reddy government couldn’t even continue the welfare schemes initiated by KCR, let alone launch new ones,” he stated.

He criticized the Congress for its failure to deliver pensions, unemployment allowances, and other welfare benefits, such as scooters for girls and ₹4,000 pensions for the elderly. “They even failed to provide the 20,000 liters of free water that KCR gave to every household,” KTR added.

KTR further alleged that the Congress government is bulldozing houses of the poor instead of building new ones. “KCR granted 1.5 lakh land titles and built one lakh double-bedroom homes in Hyderabad, but in two years, the Congress hasn’t given a single new house or title deed,” he said.

He accused the Revanth Reddy-led Congress of corruption, arrogance, and incompetence, saying the Chief Minister was intimidating anyone who questioned him about unfulfilled guarantees. “Revanth Reddy believes people will keep voting for him even if he does nothing — that illusion must be shattered,” KTR warned.

Taking a dig at Congress’ election strategy, KTR said the party was trying to bribe voters in Jubilee Hills. “If Congress workers offer you money, take it — but vote for the car symbol. If they give ₹5,000, ask them when they’ll pay the remaining amount,” he quipped.

Highlighting the achievements of the previous BRS government under K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), KTR said:

“KCR fought against all odds to create Telangana. He made the state No.1 in the country, solved power and water crises, built 42 flyovers, laid hundreds of kilometers of roads, developed villages, and launched welfare schemes like Shaadi Mubarak and KCR Kit. From newborns to the elderly, every citizen benefited under BRS.”

He appealed to the voters of Jubilee Hills to support Maganti Sunitha with a massive majority, saying that her victory would mark the beginning of KCR’s return as Chief Minister and the start of a new wave of development.

KTR concluded by asserting that Congress’ downfall is inevitable, and that the Jubilee Hills by-election will be the people’s verdict against the Revanth Reddy government’s falsehoods and failures.
