Hyderabad: September 7 Telangana Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy has accused the BRS and BJP of “match-fixing” in the State Assembly. He questioned BJP leaders over the delay in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) probe into the alleged ₹1 lakh crore Kaleshwaram project scam.

Komatireddy said the Telangana government had requested the Centre to initiate a probe into the alleged irregularities in the Kaleshwaram project nearly a year ago. He questioned why the investigation had not progressed despite the request and sought an explanation from BJP leaders in the State.

The minister alleged that the BRS and BJP were working together inside the Assembly and questioned whether both parties had reached an understanding on the issue. He demanded clarity from the BJP on the status of the Centre’s investigation into the alleged financial irregularities in the Kaleshwaram project.
