Telangana Jagruthi President and MLC K. Kavitha launched a scathing attack on the Congress government, accusing it of being “obsessed with chanting KCR’s name” instead of addressing people’s issues.

Speaking at a press meet, Kavitha said the state government was failing to handle floods, recalling how, during BRS rule, then CM KCR would alert MPs six months in advance regarding issues like urea supply. She asserted that the Medigadda barrage was only a small part of the “invaluable asset” that is the Kaleshwaram project.

“KCR spent months researching to bring water to Telangana. He never cared for food or money, yet today, corruption charges are being thrown at him,” she said, while stressing that the Kaleshwaram project would be remembered by the people for 200 years.

Kavitha alleged that those close to KCR were responsible for tarnishing his clean image. She directly named Harish Rao and former MP Mega Krishna Reddy as being involved in creating a “corruption stain” on KCR. “It is because of them that today Revanth Reddy is in a position to criticize KCR,” she said.

The MLC also accused Harish Rao and Santosh Rao of conspiring against her, claiming that they were working at the behest of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. “Those close to KCR acted like corrupt anacondas and defamed him,” she alleged.

Kavitha rejected social media propaganda that she was backed by BJP or Congress. “I carry KCR’s blood. I will remain independent,” she declared, adding that the fact CBI inquiries were being sought against KCR itself showed how far political vendetta had gone.

She warned detractors: “If you troll me on social media, I will skin you alive.”

Slamming the Congress government for “wasting time in the name of the P.C. Ghosh Commission,” Kavitha alleged that Revanth Reddy uses KCR’s name only to get his photo published in newspapers.

She further accused Congress and BJP of colluding, stating that Telangana’s BCs were being sacrificed for Bihar elections. “Why is the government not going to the Supreme Court to fight for BC reservations?” she asked, vowing to campaign against Congress during the Bihar Assembly elections.

Kavitha concluded confidently, saying: “In the CBI inquiry, KCR will come out spotless like a washed pearl.”
