K. Kavitha Criticizes Delay in Rythu Bharosa Funds, Demands Immediate Release

Hyderabad, February 6 (Patriotic Views): BRS MLC K. Kavitha has expressed strong displeasure over the delay in the release of Rythu Bharosa funds and criticized the state government for its inefficiency. She urged the Congress-led government to immediately disburse the funds in full to all farmers, rather than in installments. Additionally, she demanded the prompt clearance of pending bills owed to village sarpanches.

A large number of former sarpanches visited K. Kavitha at her residence today to discuss the issues faced by farmers in rural areas and the difficulties arising due to the non-payment of pending bills. Addressing the gathering of former sarpanches, Kavitha stated that the state government does not appear to be serious about the implementation of the Rythu Bharosa scheme.

She emphasized that under the leadership of BRS Chief and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, funds under the Rythu Bandhu scheme were directly transferred to farmers’ bank accounts. However, the Revanth Reddy-led government is releasing meager amounts in installments, causing severe distress among farmers.

Kavitha questioned why the full financial aid had not yet been released even after the farmers had completed their crop cultivation. She labeled the delay in the disbursement of Rythu Bharosa funds as a betrayal of farmers.

Warning the government of potential large-scale protests across the state, she asserted that if this injustice continues, farmers will be compelled to raise their voices against the administration.

Speaking on the issue of pending payments to sarpanches, Kavitha pointed out that even after a year since their tenure ended, the government has failed to clear their dues. She criticized the Congress government’s negligence and inefficiency in handling these financial matters.

Expressing deep concern, she stated that many sarpanches, who had dedicated themselves to public service, were now facing severe financial crises, with some even being pushed to the brink of suicide.

The BRS MLC strongly urged the government to release the pending payments to sarpanches without further delay and ensure financial stability for those who had served their communities with dedication.
