Jamia Anwar-ul-Huda Hosts Annual Quran Memorization and Bukhari Studies Ceremony

Hyderabad, November 25: (PATRIOTIC VIEWS) A grand ceremony marking the completion of Quran memorization and Bukhari studies was held at Jamia Anwar-ul-Huda, located in Nadee Moosa Guda, Kishan Bagh. The event, conducted on Sunday, also included the distribution of certificates and awards to meritorious students. The program was presided over by the institution’s rector, Maulana Mir Qutbuddin Ali Chishti, and attended by several renowned scholars and intellectuals.
A Distinguished Gathering of Scholars
The completion of Quran memorization was officiated by Maulana Shah Muhammad Jamal-ur-Rehman, Ameer Jamaat-e-Shariat, while the Bukhari studies session was led by Maulana Muhammad Rizwanuddin Maroofi, Sheikh-ul-Hadith of Jamia Islamia Ishaatul Uloom, Akalkuwa, Maharashtra.
Prominent personalities, including Hafiz Pir Khaleeq Ahmed Sabir, General Secretary of Jamiat Ulama Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, were present at the event under the guidance of Maulana Syed Naseeruddin Ali Chishti.
In his welcome address, Syed Nooruddin Ali Chishti shared the historical milestones of Jamia Anwar-ul-Huda, established in 1974 by Maulana Mir Qutbuddin Ali Chishti. He highlighted its evolution into a respected institution providing quality Islamic education.
Academic Achievements and Ongoing Contributions
The institution has significantly contributed to Islamic education by producing:
- 24 female scholars (Muftiyat)
- 43 graduates in Hadith (Dawrah-e-Hadith)
- 119 female Huffaz
- 24 male scholars
- 3 Hadith graduates
- 22 male Huffaz
Currently, 149 male students and 86 female students are enrolled in various courses. Contributions of key family members, including Hafiz Syed Naseeruddin Ali Chishti, Maulana Syed Nizamuddin Chishti, Maulana Syed Nooruddin Ali Chishti, and Mufti Merajuddin Ali Abrar, were applauded.
Inspirational Messages and Teachings
The program began with Quran recitations and Naat presented by Maulana Mufti Qasmi Ali and Maulvi Aziz Masoom. Maulana Mushtaq delivered the inaugural speech, emphasizing the significance of Islamic greetings (Salam) and dining etiquettes.
Encouraging the pursuit of knowledge, Maulana Mufti Alamgir Haider called on students to value education and work towards societal reform. Maulana Shah Jamal-ur-Rehman motivated attendees to make daily Quran recitation a habit and integrate its teachings into daily life.
During the Bukhari studies session, Maulana Rizwan Maroofi inspired students with lessons on the transformative power of Allah’s love, compassion, and sincerity. He also urged female students to prioritize educating women in religious teachings.
Acknowledgments and Closing Notes
Renowned scholars such as Maulana Mahmood-ur-Rehman Mazahiri, Maulana Aqil Qasmi, Maulana Zafar Iqbal Qasmi, and Hafiz Syed Balighuddin Ali attended the ceremony. Mufti Merajuddin Ali Abrar skillfully hosted the program, which concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Maulana Syed Nizamuddin Chishti.
