Hyderabad, September 1: Hyderabad’s new three-way civic administration received a visible identity on Monday as Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy unveiled new logos for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC) during the inauguration of the Moosarambagh High-Level Bridge.

The GHMC has reportedly received a new logo after nearly a decade. The three municipal corporations will now use their respective logos in official communications, public services and other public-facing activities.

The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation said its new logo represents care, sustainability, growth and the spirit of Cyberabad, describing it as the corporation’s new identity. The Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation said its emblem reflects inclusive development, efficient governance, sustainable growth and citizen-centric public service. These descriptions were provided by the respective corporations for their new designs.

The logo unveiling follows the Telangana government’s recent reorganisation of the erstwhile GHMC into three separate municipal corporations. Under the new structure, GHMC has six zones, 30 circles and 150 divisions, while CMC has three zones, 16 circles and 76 divisions. MMC has three zones, 14 circles and 74 divisions.
