Government Committed to Providing Quality Healthcare to the Poor: Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha

Jangaon | Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha emphasized that the state government’s primary goal is to ensure free and quality healthcare services for the poor.

The minister, accompanied by District Collector Rizwan Basha Shaik, public representatives, and officials, inaugurated a CT Scan machine at the District Government General Hospital. During his visit, he inspected various departments, interacted with patients, and reviewed the medical services being provided.

Later, the minister conducted a review meeting with district health officials at the hospital. The discussions covered construction and management of the Medical College and Nursing College, as well as the functioning of PHCs, CSCs, and CMS centers. He also reviewed the progress of hostel buildings being constructed for medical students and discussed measures to control seasonal diseases.

The minister directed district officials to work with a clear focus on strengthening government hospitals and ensuring better facilities for patients. He cautioned health authorities against negligence in medical services and stressed the importance of accountability.

Local MLA Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, DMHO Mallikarjun, GGH Superintendent Rajalingam, Medical College Principal Nagarani, and other health officials participated in the review meeting.
