Nirmal, Dec. 24(Abdul Majid): A felicitation programme in honour of the newly elected Sarpanch and Deputy Sarpanch was organised on Tuesday at the Mandal Parishad Primary School, Chincholi (B). The programme was presided over by the school headmaster, Mr Shaik Shabbir Ali.

Newly elected Sarpanch Vannela Sayanna and Deputy Sarpanch Poshetty were felicitated on the occasion. Former VDC president Poshetty, Congress leader Shekhar, teachers Rajini, Vijaya and Ravinder, along with a large number of students, participated in the programme.

Addressing the gathering, Mr Shaik Shabbir Ali highlighted several issues faced by the school, including roof leakage, the need for construction of an additional toilet and the lack of other basic amenities. He appealed to the newly elected representatives to take immediate steps to resolve these problems.

In his response, Sarpanch Mr Vannela Sayanna assured that all the issues of the school would be addressed on priority. He said that education would be given top priority in the development of the village and that every possible support would be extended for the improvement of the school and the all-round development of students.

The programme concluded with the expression of best wishes for the academic progress of students and the overall development of the school.
