Hyderabad, October 22:
An awareness program and essay writing competition on the topic “Drug Menace: Role of Police in Prevention” was organized today at Government High School, Jangammet, under the supervision of SHO Falaknuma A. Seethaiah and SI Shaik Abdul Raheem.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 100 students across Telugu, Urdu, and English mediums. The competition, conducted between 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM, aimed to educate students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage them to adopt a drug-free lifestyle.

During the session, students were also sensitized on how to identify and resist drugs and were motivated to spread awareness within their communities. The initiative highlighted the important role of police in guiding the younger generation towards a safe and healthy future.
