Development Works Launched in Hasanabad Constituency under “Panula Jathara – 2025”

Minister Ponnam Prabhakar inaugurated and laid foundation stones for several development projects in Hasanabad Assembly constituency as part of the “Panula Jathara – 2025” program.
At Kundanavani Pally village of Akkannapet mandal, he laid the foundation stone for a new Gram Panchayat building to be constructed at a cost of ₹20 lakhs. In Gandipally village, he inaugurated a newly constructed Panchayat building built with an expenditure of ₹20 lakhs. He also participated in the housewarming ceremony of Indiramma Housing Scheme beneficiary Adepalli Rajayya and instructed that the Indiramma houses be completed at the earliest.
At Ramavaram village, he laid the foundation stone for a new Panchayat building with an outlay of ₹20 lakhs and an Anganwadi center at a cost of ₹12 lakhs. Similarly, in Nandaram village, the foundation stone was laid for a new Anganwadi building at a cost of ₹12 lakhs.
The program was attended by Siddipet District Collector Haimavathi, Additional Collector Garima Agarwal, Library Corporation Chairman Lingamurthy, Single Window Chairman Shivaiah, and several other officials and local leaders.
Minister Ponnam Prabhakar stated that across the state, development works are being inaugurated and foundation stones are being laid under “Panula Jathara.” He added that in Hasanabad constituency, across Akkannapet, Koheda, and Hasanabad mandals, a total of 46 development works were launched today.
He emphasized that solving people’s problems is the government’s top priority. During his visit to the Akkannapet fertilizer shop, he noted that though 500 urea bags were available, farmers were still waiting in long queues and facing distress. He said that despite repeated appeals, the central government has failed to supply fertilizers adequately. He urged Union Minister Bandi Sanjay to ensure that farmers in his parliamentary constituency do not face fertilizer shortages.
The Minister further said that the Gouravelli Project is a lifeline for farmers of Hasanabad. Funds have already been sanctioned, and land acquisition and canal works will soon be completed. For land acquisition in Hanumakonda district, ₹25 crores have been released, and Siddipet and Karimnagar districts will also receive funds shortly.
He appealed to farmers to cooperate in the land acquisition process for canals and collect their due compensation. He also informed that the ₹10 crore penalty imposed by NGT has been paid, clearing the way for completion of land acquisition and water supply through canals.
He assured that land issues in Nandaram, Sampoorna Nayak Tanda, and Gandipally villages under the Survekhaja lands will also be resolved. He noted that this is a major issue in Bhoobharti and has already brought it to the attention of the Revenue Minister for a permanent solution.
