Hyderabad, Shaikpet: Patriotic Views The District Collector, Anudeep Durishetty, has suspended Shaikpet Mandal Deputy Inspector of Schools (IOS) K. Yadagiri for permitting schools to shut down during class hours to allow teachers to participate in a lunch party.
The incident occurred on Friday, the 13th of this month, when teachers in Shaikpet Mandal allegedly closed classrooms and gathered for a lunch party. K. Yadagiri, who holds additional responsibilities as the Banjara Hills Gazetted Headmaster and Shaikpet Deputy IOS, was held accountable for dereliction of duty.
In addition to Yadagiri’s suspension, show-cause notices were issued to 80 government school teachers from Shaikpet Mandal for neglecting their duties and participating in the lunch gathering during school hours.
District Collector Anudeep Durishetty strictly warned that any negligence in official responsibilities will not be tolerated. He emphasized that disciplinary action will be taken against those who fail to perform their duties with integrity and accountability.
This incident has raised concerns regarding the supervision of government schools and the importance of ensuring that academic activities are not disrupted for non-official purposes. The District Collector urged all educational staff to prioritize their responsibilities and adhere to government norms.
