Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka Congratulates Telangana’s Chikitha for Creating History at World Archery Youth Championships
Hyderabad: Telangana’s pride, Chikitha Taniparthi, from Sultanpur village, Eligaid Mandal, Peddapalli district, has brought glory to India by winning the gold medal in the Under-21 Women’s category at the World Archery Youth Championships held in Winnipeg, Canada.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka congratulated Chikitha on her historic achievement and expressed immense happiness over her success. He said that it was a moment of pride not only for Telangana but for the entire nation as Chikitha became the first Indian woman archer to achieve this milestone at the prestigious global tournament.
The Deputy CM praised the 20-year-old for her outstanding form and consistent performance throughout the tournament. He wished her many more such victories on the international stage and hoped that she would continue to make both the state and the country proud with her future achievements.
