Demand Raised for Immediate Reopening of Umeed Portal in Nizamabad
Nizamabad, December 18 (MD Akber–Patriotic Views): Expressing serious concern over the unresolved registration crisis of Islamic institutions, JAC Nizamabad Co-Convenor Syed Feroz Ali said that despite a clear and written tribunal order directing the Umeed Portal to be opened for three months, the portal remains closed even after a long delay. He stated that because of this inaction, several mosques, dargahs, madrasas, graveyards and other Islamic institutions across Nizamabad district have been deprived of legal registration. Calling the situation alarming, Syed Feroz Ali appealed to JAC Nizamabad, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) and responsible leaders of all political parties to intervene immediately and ensure implementation of the tribunal’s order by facilitating the early reopening of the Umeed Portal. He stressed that understanding the urgency of time is essential to avoid future legal complications. He urged the Muslim community to keep land records, old documents and survey details.
