Cyberabad CP Honors Winners of Essay Writing Competition

Cyberabad, December 18, 2024 – The Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, Avinash Mohanty, IPS, along with Joint Commissioner of Police, D. Joel Davis, IPS, today distributed prizes to the winners of the Cyberabad Police Essay Writing Competition at the Cyberabad CP Office. The ceremony was attended by officials from the Women & Children Safety Wing (W&CSW), including DCP Srujana Karnam and ACP Prasanna Kumar.

The event was part of the Police Commemoration Week 2024 celebrations, during which the Cyberabad Police organized essay writing competitions for both police personnel and college students. A total of 21 winners were recognized, including 6 police officers and 15 college students, each receiving prizes from the Commissioner of Police.

The competition featured carefully selected topics to encourage meaningful participation from all groups. Senior officers, ranked SI and above, wrote on the topic “Sound Mind in a Sound Body.” Constables and ASI officers addressed the topic “How Can I Improve the Police Image in Society,” while junior and degree college students submitted essays on “Advantages and Disadvantages of Mobile Phones” and “Drug Abuse in Society.”

The competition was a great success, fostering creative thinking and dialogue on important societal issues.
