Cyber Crime Awareness Programme Held at RN Colony, Falaknuma

A Cyber Crime Awareness Programme was successfully conducted at RN Colony, Falaknuma, under the supervision of Sri Jangaiah, SHO Falaknuma, and Sri Shaik Jakeer Hussain, Detective Inspector of Police, Falaknuma, along with the Cyber Crime staff.
During the programme, officials educated local residents about the rising incidents of cyber fraud and the various methods used by fraudsters to cheat innocent people. They explained common scams such as OTP fraud, fake calls, online job scams, and phishing links, urging citizens to remain vigilant while using digital platforms.
The police officers also shared preventive measures, advising the public not to share personal or banking details with unknown persons and to immediately report suspicious activities to the concerned authorities.
The initiative received a positive response from the residents, who appreciated the efforts of the police department in creating awareness and ensuring public safety.
